I am sure you understand, from 911 experience, the difference between peace and panic in emergency situations.
When Satan throws the book at us we need to know who gained the Victory and Control on the cross and in the grave.

Yes, staying calm and focused when the situation presented to you says to panic. It takes knowing the correct response no matter what the situation is. In 911 my first thought could never be panic I had to have trust and confidence in my training to take appropriate action no matter what the emergency was.

Amen, I am trying to learn to have trust and confidence in a intimate relationship and growing knowledge of Jesus Christ, His example and Divine Influence.
Having knowledge is great, but being able to 'trust' and apply that knowledge, in all of life's situations, is Wisdom and not easy!!
We must be grafted into the vine Jesus Christ and take His Yoke upon our shoulders!!
The difference between the wise man building on a foundation of rock. The struggle, frustration, sweat and tears. And the foolish man's quick and easy build on sand.
I guess it could be said that all of us, in the body of Christ are being trained or in training. Pete's sermons, our time in the Word, the Holy Spirit, etc. Even as we hold each other up in prayer when they are having a 'test'.
May we all mature into first class Spiritual 911 operators.
